DEAR MISS BREED

(2007) by Joanne Oppenheim, with Asian Story theatre and the San Diego Public Library.  Based on the true story of SD Public Librarian Clara E. Breed, who maintained correspondence with over 40 Japanese American Children during WW2. 

Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog - LIVE

(2011) by Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed, Zack and Joss Whedon, with Gam3rCon. Adapted from the award-winning musical web-series.  An aspiring supervillain contends with his nemesis for control of the city and the eye of his beloved 'laundry-buddy.'

Golden Child

(2012) by David Henry Hwang, with the San Diego Chinese Center.  The Tony Nominated play about a Chinese family adopting western ideals in 1900's China.

Letters to a Student Revolutionary  

(2009) by Elizabeth Wong, with the UCSD Asian American Theatre Festival.  A Chinese American girl maintain's a pen-pal correspondence with an idealistic girl in China leading up to the 1989 Tienanmen Massacre.

the Musical Paul Gauguin

(2011) by KL Brisby, with Asian Story Theater, An Original Musical Based on the life, travels, writings and art of post-impressionist, Paul Gauguin.
